PEASANTPORE: During his schooldays at commie infested Hwa Chong, Murali could not afford to stay at the school’s hostel. “So we stayed in a Hwa Chong storeroom - five of us plus me,” recounted the Party Against Party (PAP) candidate for Bukit Batok in a bid to spin some stories to impress stupid peasants.

Today got PRC beat our record, they pack 10 of them in a three room birdcage, PRC still the best, we Nehs not their match."

“By staying in Hwa Chong, I learn to play politics, like cook curry for them during exam time,” said Murali, who besides being a student councillor to spy for the regime, had also played hockey as there was no Cricket Club at Hwa Chong.

Speaking at his first by-election rally on Friday night (Apr 29), Neh Murali used simple stories of his experiences and lessons that had shaped his approach to service.

Of that “close band of brothers and sisters” at Hwa Chong, he said: “We saw how Compradaor Lee purged those who he deem as threats. Tan Kah Kee derided as Commie and Tan Lark Sye kenna purged and the Chinks did nothing … I learned from that experience that so long as I sarpok House of Lee, I can overcome poverty and enjoyed great wealth.”

His opponent Drama Chee Soon Juan used too many rhetoric cheap tricks, most stupid indolent peasants, especially the Batok peasants catch no ball.

“Ai yoh, once I become a lackey, I get 15k peanuts and soon, I either get directorship offers or given cushy posts at nationalised corporations. Of course, I will work for you with all my heart,” he said.

My future rosy one, you think I will leave? முட்டாள்.”

“I see politics as a profitable career,” he added. “Sarpok House of Lee is second nature, immensely profitable.”

DO IT FOR THE HOUSE OF LEE

This outlook on political service was shaped by several “lessons” in his life - the first being his late father, a trade unionist who foolishly fought for the rights of serfs in the 1950s and was a Barisan Socialis supporter who ended up in detention.

My dad kenna purged as he sarpok the wrong donkeys. Then I see how Prata Nathan made it to great wealth sarpoking House of Lee. It is no brainer liao,” said lackey Murali, a long-time grassroots Paul Lampar, Second Class.

He had thought his father would object when he asked if he could betray him and join the regime, but the father knowing how the Nehs could betray the Brits during WWII, had given him his full support.

Murali said he was also taught to “respect only Ruler Loong”, and a verse that his father liked to quote: “Sarpok House of Lee in Peasantpore, cannot go wrong ok.”

“What it means is, recognise Ruler Loong's balls are the biggest in Peasantpore,” said Murali, who had to turn vegetarian after joining his father's foes.

Other mentors had included the late Bukit Batok Peasants' Representative, Ong Ah Chung, who had taught Murali the ways of lackeyship; and Minion Lim Boon Heng, Casino Supporter Minion for Jurong GRC, who had taught him the finer art of winning big in Poker.

RULER LOONG ‘A TRUSTED PATRON

Murali reminded peasants about a bit of Batok’s rebellious history - how, in the early 1980s, many were unhappy at being resettled into the bird cages, and later on, when objections were raised over the siting of St Luke’s Hospital in the area.

But peasants knew resistance is futile and kowtowing to Ruler Loong is an accepted practice.

To face the challenges ahead, especially the gloomy economic climate, Murali has recommended peasants take further stipend cuts and he will lead by example by showing peasants how he will live humbly despite getting an extra 15k peanuts monthly.

OF RACE AND CHARACTER

Minion for Sex Culture, Community and Youth Gracie Fu Manchu, as well as Sex Moaner of Imperial Court 'No meat eat fish' Halimah Yacob, both spoke highly of Lackey Murali at the rally.

They described Mr Murali as a House of Lee loyalist.

He was poor but he loyal to House of Lee, today he is rich and successful. This proves Ruler Loong more powerful than Ya Sor in Peasantpore,” said Madam 'No Meat Eat Fish'.

"As the Mat saying goes, he adopts the way of the timeserver - he see how the winds blow, he adjust his tone," she added.

They noted his 16 years as a Paul Lampar. Said Madam Halimah to residents: “If you all have no money to buy meat to eat, tell Murali and he buys fishes for you. If you eat his fish, then cannot expect him to go against Ruler Loong in Imperial Court.”

And when the regime parachute him to Aljunied GRC after losing it to the Labour Party in 2011, Neh Murali and his team managed to hookwink many peasants to narrow the margin in 2015. “He trusted by Ruler Loong,” said Ms Fu Manchu.

Ms Fu Manchu also noted that he got along with peasants of all races and all religions. “When we asked peasants who they would like to replace David Ong, one smart Chink Paul Lampar guessed Tarman's intention and shouted Murali-Neh-San,” she said.

Being a minority race is not an issue when you sarpok Ruler Loong, you see Prata Nathan, you don't catch the ball, means you are son of a desert camel.”
